Cost: $22/person will be collected at the Atlanta Zoo entrance plaza by Ezra Cohen. Lunch is on your own tab.
Reservations: Reservations are required and close on April 23. If you cancel after April 23, you will be obligated for the $22 entrance fee to Zoo Atlanta.
Event details: Founded in 1889, Zoo Atlanta is home to over 200 incredible species and a reopened and redesigned lion habitat! You’ll explore at a comfortable pace, stopping to enjoy sights like:
- African Savanna: Watch elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and zebras roam.
- New Lion Habitat: Get an up-close view of these magnificent big cats!
- Gorilla Rainforest: One of North America’s largest gorilla populations.
- Asian Forest: Home to orangutans, tigers, and Komodo dragons.
- The Living Treehouse: A scenic stop for exotic birds and lemurs.
Opportunities abound to explore the zoo at a comfortable pace, with plenty of chances to sit, rest, and take in the sights without feeling rushed.
Parking: Parking is available at the following locations. Rates are $3/hour or $12/day:
Cherokee Avenue Parking Lot: 800 Cherokee Avenue, SE, Atlanta GA 30315
Grant Park Gateway Parking Facility: 759 Boulevard SE, Atlanta GA 30312
The parking lots are on opposite sides of the zoo; however, the Grant Park Gateway is up a hill. Cherokee Avenue lot is recommended.
